Before you buy
How fast is it issued?
Typically 1–3 business days: the CA checks your registered organisation as well as the domain. Having your company registration details to hand speeds it up.
Do I pay again when this certificate expires?
Not within your plan. Certificates now last up to 200 days now; up to 100 days from 15 Mar 2027; up to 47 days from 15 Mar 2029. When one nears its limit, reactivate it free from your dashboard; you pay again only to go beyond your plan's end date.
What happens after I pay?
Paste your CSR (or make one in your browser), then add one DNS record, upload a file, or answer an email. Your certificate page shows each step with its time, and checks your DNS for you.
My domain has CAA records — will issuance fail?
Only if they don't allow this CA. If your domain publishes CAA records, one must allow sectigo.com. The DNS check on your certificate page shows the exact record to add.
